Electric Wall Panel Heaters Use For Whole-House Heating or For Supplemental Heating Ideal For Hard-To-Heat Areas Electric wall panel heaters are extremely versatile and efficient -- ideal for areas that have little usable wall space but require a great amount of heat -- for example: entrances, basement recreation rooms, bathrooms and kitchens. Wall panel heaters equipped with fans also can heat a large area well. Many wall panel heaters have a heating element similar to those used in baseboard heating units; others have a coil spring element, and some have an element unit fused to heat-resistant glass. Wall panel heaters may have fans to move the heated air. Ordinarily, wall panel heaters are installed about one foot above the floor and usually on an outside wall. Units are available for surface mounting or for recessing into the wall between the studs. Wall panel heaters are economical, attractive in appearance and contain a thermostat for individual room temperature control. They are valuable in whole-house electric heating or as supplemental heat where existing systems are inadequate. Another great option is cove heat.
