Program Description
Black Hills Power offers rebates to its residential customers when they replace existing water heaters with high-efficiency electric models, or when they install high-efficiency electric models in new single-family dwellings. BHP does not offer rebates to residential customers nor do we recommend installing tankless electric water heaters.
Eligible Measures
To qualify for a rebate, a high-efficiency residential tank water heater must have an Energy Factor (EF) of 0.94 or greater.
