Demand Controller Installer Certification Training
Black Hills Power (BHP) would like to invite you to BHP’s Demand Controller Installer Certification Training. The course is scheduled for Thursday, May 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Training materials and lunch will be provided. The class will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Hot Springs SD.
The FREE Demand Controller training course is designed for all licensed electricians who install demand controllers throughout BHP’s service area. This course is designed for the new demand control installer, but serves well as a comprehensive refresher for the seasoned installer as well. This class qualifies you for 2 Code and 4 Non-code hours, as approved by the South Dakota Electrical Commission. BHP is committed to the highest quality of service when installing demand controllers for its customers. Completion of this class will allow you an opportunity to participate in the program as a certified installer. This course will also help you realize the benefits of installing the demand controller unit with minimum hassles and maximum customer satisfaction.
Much of this class will cover the Brayden Automation Model 9312 demand controller which BHP will begin installing June 1, 2008. There will be significant changes in programming and installation that are different from previous models.
PLEASE NOTE: This certification is valid for four (4) years. If it has been longer than four years since you were certified, you must be re-certified by taking this class again. Only customers who use a CERTIFIED electrician qualify for any type of demand controller installation rebate or free installation.
Preference will be given to an electrician whose certification has expired or is very close to expiring, then class spaces will be given to those who are current in their certification. LIMITED class space available, so please register early! |
