Daniel P. Landguth

Daniel P. Landguth, a 20 year employee of Black Hills Power and Light Company became its fifth president in 1987. He was employed by the Company as a Sales Engineer in October 1969 and subsequently served as a Power Use Engineer, Manager Power Use Department, Assistant Plant Superintendent, Director of Energy Use, Manager Rates and Regulations, Vice President Administration and Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to employment with Black Hills Power and Light Company he worked for Pacific Gas and Electric, San Francisco, California. He is a graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

Landguth and his wife, Barbara, have four children, Nancy, Mark, Scott, and Erin.
